Fluid Master Exhaust

I thought this was kind of funny, although I'm posting it a bit late..

Christmas this year was quite interesting. I spent it at my boyfriend's house.. His step-dad asked for only one thing: a flow master exhaust for his recently purchased Dodge truck.

At the bottom of his stocking was something to the effect of the following:

A product for sale from Fluidmaster.. apparently "the most popular name in Toilet Care"

We were all at a loss for words. She seemed completely oblivious. She asked him if she'd got the right thing, "a fluidmaster kit, right?" He said no, but that he appreciated it much and that all his other presents were wonderful so she shouldn't worry. He promised her he'd find some way to use this.. 'fluidmaster kit'

The last present he opened was a HUGE box. Inside the box, a TEENY tiny box. Laying inside the box was a reciept for a flowmaster exhaust system, installation included. The toilet thing was a gag gift.

I thought it was really clever of her at least.. *shrug* Thought I'd share the story..

Re: Fluid Master Exhaust

That's cute.

I would still use the gag gift to replace the valve assembly in one of my toilets (it seems like almost every apartment I move into has this issue and management NEVER will replace them because it only leaks a little water). Why not, those things tend to leak after about 10 years give or take a bit.
