Do you remember to put your headlights on?

I have an '07 2.3 with electroluminescent gauges and every now and then I forget to put on the headlights at night. On my old car the dash would be dark when the headlights were off so it was easy to remember, but the electroluminescent gauges are always lit so the only sign that the lights are off is the absence of that little green headlight icon on the dash. Anyone else have this problem? Is there some way to make the distinction between lights on and lights off more apparent?

I set the lights to auto when I bought it 7 months ago, and called it a day. On my last car? Often enough.

Check for the lights on warning light? Sorry to be sarcastic!

Kind of makes me wish I had an "auto" setting on mine, but I guess that's not yet standard equipment.

I hear ya pan. I'm not trying to brag. My first car was standard.. absolutely everything. Very basic. This time around I went all out, well until the mazdaspeed 3 came out! :P

Re: Do you remember to put your headlights on?

I've forgotten a couple of times, but you kinda notice it when you can't see anything in front of you....

Well I guess that doesn't work if you live in a city though. I live out in the middle of nowhere with no street lights and you need to use your brights at all times or else you can barely see...

Re: Do you remember to put your headlights on?

I turn mine off during the day... If I didn't you couldn't really see my headlight and fog rockblocker films.
