Re: I want a porsche....

yeah a boxster. quite a bit on ebay for about 20 grand. pretty cheap. if my bro buys my mazda3 then imma try to grab a porsche~~~ that would be so tight.

then on the street, ill have a orange supra come up next to me, and the kid will be like "nice car, how much do one of those things run for?" and ill be like "too much for you... Porsche" then we go from the light, which is in the middle of the desert in cali, and thats when i finally got a girlfriend, and she is wearing black sunglasses, cause its cool. and its summer time. and we go zoom zoom down the street, but then for some reason he goes into the opposite lane to pass traffic, and then he wins.. aww.... then by the time he pulls into the cafe, i zoom past and the camera doesnt even look at me...
grr wait till i start in fast and furious: Euro! mr brian o. connell... are you a serial killer? sounds like a serial killer to me! No one likes the tuna around here...

Re: I want a porsche....

AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhh

I went to geico and did a insurance quote thingy of 2 years later when im an officer, single, with minimum coverage, itll only be 800 bucks every six months when im 21-22~~~

real minimum i think. but only 878 if I up the coverage~~~

guess it makes sense since kids dont drive porsches and usually its old guys, or ppl with porsches are also real careful...

dang im so gonna talk to my parents about this when my bro graduates high school...

Re: I want a porsche....

You also live in Oklahoma. I would imagine that coverage for me, despite being married (and older then you), would probably be $1000 per 6 months if not more in the Baltimore MD area for minimum coverage.

If you want go for it, but keep in mind the maintenance on it is a BEAR. Any kind of engine work requires dropping the engine, even fairly basic stuff requires dropping the engine or some serious yoga to manage. Oil changes are pretty expensive on it even. Parts are also costly.

So just keep that in mind that ANY work it needs done is going to run at a minimum twice what it would on a Mazda 3 to as much as 5-6 times as much. Fun car, but horribly expensive on maitenance and repairs (the 911 is cheaper due to easier access to the engine and engine bay, though parts are still expensive for the 911).

Re: I want a porsche....

oh, yeah, that makes sense. But it should be okay because not too long after I am able to purchase the porsche, i should be an officer in the united states army making decent money.

Re: I want a porsche....

speaking of porsches, i drove my cousin's carrera on new years day. fantastic car. but that car is like $70k.

kspec, i hope you're talking about the boxster S because the base boxster is pretty damn slow. and you dont need a porsche to get a girlfriend
