Is it wrong?

Is it wrong for your significant other to make perverted remarks back and forth to someone they don't know? I caught my fiance making comments back and forth with some girl on another forum. He says it's innocent, but it hurts. Should I be worried? I just don't think this behavior is appropriate for someone who wants to get married or someone that will be married.

Re: Is it wrong?

Others may have different views of what they consider right and wrong but I don't think it is acceptable. Granted some of us men think more with the brain down stairs than up I still don't think it is an excuse to do that. If you are engaged with a woman or married then it should be and stay that way. Both should act accordingly. Maybe he just doesn't understand what he is doing. You should share your feelings to him so that maybe he can.

Just my .02 cents on the subject.

No, i wasn't posting on the same forum. He actually left the screen up of some posts that he made before he left for work one day. I didn't mean to look but it caught my eye. I told him I was looking because I felt bad. But once I realized what he was doing I didn't feel so bad.

How old are the both of you? Is he generally a flirtatious person? How long have you been together? Has this come up in the past?

Re: Is it wrong?

i dont think is right IMO

when you are with someone, you are with someone. no matter what you did at the past when the person was single, some things change when you are with someone. having respect to the other person you are with is one of them.

i know i wouldnt do what he is doing because IMO that doesnt respect the other person. even if they are just friends of even if they dont know each other... it still feels wierd to see it, it doesnt feel good like you said.

I'm 24, he's 28. Generally he's an outgoing person but I don't think that's any excuse. We've been together for about 6 years. This hasn't come up in the past that I know of.

Re: Is it wrong?

If you honestly feel there is something more to what he is doing, they it needs to be addressed. If he tells you he will stop, will you believe him? If not, and it bothers you that much, you should re-evaluate the relationship.

relationships progess. Even if it is harmless now, there is nothing to say it won't change. And you also do not know the intentions of the person at the other end.

It is interesting you do not have many posts in the forum, and this is one of the first. what made you pick this forum to ask this quesitons?
