my brief encounter with a modded GTI

this morning forum member "lots-o-boost" and i went to dunkin donuts in my speed3.
as soon as we pulled in a fella driving a few year old GTI came in revving his motor. so we chatted while waiting for our orders.
turns out he had a turbo upgrade and lots of other goodies including some stuff he said that was custom fabbed.
when leaving the shop he asked if he could see my car and i let him take a look, he seemed impressed with the car. when leaving the lot he pulled out of the lot first and was just tooling around at like 10 mph in fist gear....he wanted a piece !! so we rolled next to each other for a few seconds, and then we took off. i pulled on him like crazy!!! he pulled up to me and made the sorry excuse that his bog turbo doesnt spool up until 4k. i thought to myself.... cosidering we went through first, second, and some of third, he should have had plenty of time to catch up.
well, all iknow is he got owned !!

Sounds like a kill in my book. Like you said going through 1-3 gears, he should of made up that land. Congrats on the kill.
