my car is a KILLER!

lol sorry, not about racing but...

i took my engine cover off to paint it today and i noticed some FUR sitting on the engine. it freaked me out because i didn't want to find some little chipmunk skeleton so i yelled for my brother so he could find it. unfortunately we couldn't recover a body which means one of two things: somewhere there is a little bald chipmunk running around. or the body is inside of the engine probably in at least a couple of pieces.

the second theory makes sense to me because when i was installing my hids and had to take the bumper off, i noticed a smell like something had died in my car somewhere, lol.

GAG this reminds me of the story on snopes about the gigantic snake that was sleeping in an RSX engine and when the owner went to start the car, the snake killed the engine.

**not on this forum and not unless its in a for sale thread.

Re: my car is a KILLER!

Aww man you got chipmunk remains in your engine??? Heard that adds like 50 hp

But seriously, that sucks. Has your car been running OK, or is it acting up?

If I recall correctly, the snake didn't fare too well either :-P

I would say just hose down the engine and see what falls out, but these cars these days have so many electronic components... I don't know. Just don't use any soap and let the car sit overnight before trying to start it I guess. I've never tried it, though.

This reminds me of the time my father put a fish in a friend's engine compartment and waited for the guy to say something. (my father was about 18 at the time)

I think my car has about... 2 raccoons to her name so far lol. Strangely there's always a friends car either in front or behind me.

Bald chipmunk? Bald beaver?

Seriously though...
Back in highschool I had a friend who drove to school like 30 minutes and then noticed the smell when she got to the school.

Turns out her cat had crawled into the engine bay. That girl cried ALL DAY....

Oh that's just wrong. The poor guy goes to turn on his A/C and gets a nose full of fish...

Good one.

AC in 1964? Not very common on cars then.
