you might want to change the title to camera help or something like that. Check cnet.com for camera reviews

Re: Mazda 3S sedan

Yeah I mean I can suggest a nice $2500 cannon EOS 5d, but that might be a little much. A cannon rebel xti is a bit better at around $800 with the kit lens (ick) or you could just get a nice cannon A530 like my wife's for about $150 with an extra 512mb memory card.

Oh, oh, oh better yet spend $200 on a fairly nice slide/negative scanner and then just source an old film SLR (35mm) camera off ebay like my olympus OM-1 for about $100. Then you can get resolutions of about 17 megapixles (okay the effective even on really fine resolution film is more like 10-13 megapixles)! Or better yet find a nice medium format hasselbad SLR and get resolutions of about 30 megapixles...of course you are going to have to pay a lot more for it, even used and a lot more for the drum scanner needed.

Re: Mazda 3S sedan

Thanks for the info. I don't want to spend too much for one.....probably between $100-$200. I have an old Nikon SLR that I haven't used in a long time. It takes really super pictures, and I have extra lenses, but it was always such a hassle to lug the camera and lenses. I like the new digital ones. Guess it's just getting one that I like. That's why I was wondering what kind some of you have.

Re: Mazda 3S sedan

If you have nikon lenses, you can get a pretty good deal on a nikon d-slr and use your existing lenses. From memory, I believe that lenses made after......1980-something will fit right on but older lenses need an adapter. I'm probably not right about the year.
