Do you eat well and exercise?

Just curious how many of us eat well and exercise on a regular basis. Attending a class on health in college and I'm surprised how few people take care of themselves. Most people probably take better care of their Mazdas or pets than their body!

Re: Do you eat well and exercise?

I was on swim/track teams in high school. I dropped about 40 pounds 2 years ago and I run everyday, about 40 miles a week. I also golf and play softball. I avoid bad carbs and big thing is portion control! Iv'e kept weight off for 2.5 years and it makes a big difference, don't feel tired all the time, more energy, and no more SNORING.....the wife likes that!

Re: Do you eat well and exercise?

if you have a fast metabolism, should you even worry about eating right?

i drink 2-3 times a week, eat extremely unhealthy foods (college student), but i do exercise. not exercising is for the weak.

Re: Do you eat well and exercise?

I exercise, but my diet is touch and go. I'll do really well with eating healthy foods in reasonable portions for a while, but then I'll give in to the convenience of local restaurants that serve things like chili dogs, ribs, and peach cobbler. my metabolism is SLOW, so needless to say I don't maintain my weight when I do that.

that would be me, lol. My 3 and my dachshund are spoiled rotten.

I don't eat as healthy as I used to and I certainly don't exercise as much as I should. I'm one of those unhealthy but thin people with fast metabolisms. I feel like this all the time ->

**not on this forum and not unless its in a for sale thread.

Re: Do you eat well and exercise?

I exercise about twice a week, should be at least four! Try to avoid fatty foods and sweets.
Las Vegas buffets have done a job on me.* Got to lose at least ten pounds!
Remeber that metabolism changes as we grow older and with our lifestyle.

I see lots of overweight people here in Las Vegas.* I mean overweight to the point they can barely walk!

Re: Do you eat well and exercise?

I've got an incredibly fast metabolism, and I eat like crap. I usually stop off at Del Taco 4 times a week on my way home from school, but I stay very active when at work (which is 40 hours a week). I haven't been to the gym in at least a year, but I've still got my eight-pack.
