Looking for Digital Camera

I got a HP photosmart M417 at the moment, and i dont like it.
It takes pics slow, and without flash, pics are blurry if you move a little.
No real settings that i found to stop this.

But my friends got digital cameras that take pics instantly, and without flash either, and are still good!
One friend has a canon powershot or something, but its kinda big.
dont know what other friend has.

Im looking at about 200 dollars or less, and small, thin, and has a LCD screen.
and quick.

I need QUICK Pics...
What do you guys use or suggest?

Re: Looking for Digital Camera

Cool, i was looking at the Sony Cybershot DSCT5 for 175 dollars.

But it said flash recycling was about 4.5 seconds. But shutter speed etc was adjustable.

I want to take good pics without flash too, with my current camera, this seems hard.

Re: Looking for Digital Camera

I though laptops all had integrated cards.... if you want to change theings out a desktop is a better solution, and the Sony retails for $899, sony laptops always carry a bigger price per component but they look nice

tell me what you think about the cameras, they are both Kodaks

Re: Looking for Digital Camera

no thx on the kodak, no offense.

im leading toward Canon i think, two of my friends have canons, and they are nice picture taking cameras

Laptops can come with better graphics cards, but usually run toward 1000+ dollars.

Your laptop is a pretty good price i think, especially since its a sony.

Re: Looking for Digital Camera

Get a Canon Powershot (any of them) they do a really good job.

BTW, no offense, but you should spend 200 bucks on taking a photography class. Cameras don't take slow pictures, the person using them take slow pictures.

Re: Looking for Digital Camera

but it takes a long time for flash to recharge. i put it on auto flash, and auto scene setting thing and it seems decent now. but the flash recharge is bad, and it eats batteries...

i dont think i need photography class, actually i take some good photographs. Some look professional, like I made a little mini snow man, set it on top of untouched snow, and a piece of grass/weed is sticking out next to it, outta the snow. and it looks so good. but that was taken with a Canon Photoshot. (my friends).

Also my camera is bulky..

EDIT: actually maybe i do need classes lol. Actually I was reading about ISO speed and exposure from a website www.photoxels.com and then started messing with my camera, and set the ISO to 100, and it takes pics quick now. maybe i dont need a new camera lol.
this month is gonna be pricey as it is... 1300 insurance for car... about 250 dollars for books.. and i want a macbook or something lol.
