Which Mazda is the best of all time?

It seems we all love are Mazda3s and some of us like to brag about them!

Mazda has been around for some time and has produced some great cars.
The RX-2-7-8, Mazda2-3-5-6, truck series, Millenia,Miata, MPV, CX7-9 are just a few!

What do you think is the best Mazda of all time?

For innovation alone, it would be something with a rotary engine.
The more refined and newer RX-8 gets my vote.

No brainer for me

3rd Gen RX-7 FTW. Add the turboed edition and it really sweetens the deal. Some purists think the 1st gen was the best because it was so light weight but looks do matter to me and the 1st gen RX-7 just doesn't cut it in that department.

Before the new Mazdaspeed3 I would have said the Miata/MX-5
Now it is hard to top the speed3.
