What are you thankful for?

So I did a search, but I couldn't find a similar topic (although I have a weird feeling there probably is one)

SO, What are YOU thankful for?

Im personally thankful for my family and girlfriend of course, and the rough times when they lend there strength to me.

YOUR TURN!!!!

Everything, and God and Jesus for blessing me so much! Hard times and though easy times. Always works out in the end if you follow the right path.

Re: What are you thankful for?

Thanks for the wild turkey and the Passenger Pigeons, destined to be **** out through wholesome American guts

thanks for a Continent to despoil and poison

thanks for Indians to provide a modicum of challenge and danger

thanks for vast herds of bison to kill and skin, leaving the carcass to rot

thanks for bounties on wolves and coyotes

thanks for the AMERICAN DREAM to vulgarize and falsify until the bare lies shine through

thanks for the KKK, for ******-killing lawmen feeling their notches, for decent church-going women with their mean, pinched, bitter, evil faces

thanks for "Kill a Queer for Christ" stickers

thanks for laboratory AIDS

thanks for Prohibition and the War Against Drugs

thanks for a country where nobody is allowed to mind his own business

thanks for a nation of finks yes,

thanks for all the memories... all right, let's see your arms... you always were a headache and you always were a bore

thanks for the last and greatest betrayal of the last and greatest of human dreams.

When you have an outlook like that, evidently it is. I'm good though.

Re: What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful that I'm not one of the few hundred people freezing their okole's off standing outside the Best Buy in Redwood City waiting for it to open at 5am. The store is visible from the freeway as I go home from work and as I passed by at 4:10am, the parking lot looked like it was already overflowing and there was a huge line of people waiting for the doors to open (I guess they started handing out the sale "tickets" at 4am).

What may have been funnier is that there's a Toys R Us that's also visible about 1/4 mile further along the freeway and they're supposed to open at 5am as well, but there were only a few cars and all of maybe 10 people standing outside.

On a car-related note, I'm thankful my exhaust has been replaced so that I no longer arrive at my destinations with a headache after listening to the constant drone coming from right under my seat. Also thankful I didn't get a ticket during that period when the original unit wasn't functioning correctly.

I am thankful for my family, that I'm in good health, and my friends.
