Another cop PWND!!

i'm not a "Cop Hater"...My dad is cop but this shit is funny. Who hasnt had a run in with this type of attitude.* I love the classic line!

Machaffie said the trooper started yelling at him so closely and loudly that Machaffie felt the trooper's saliva hitting him in the head*

Re: Another cop PWND!!

No offense to any military people,(going off his remark) but what makes them think that being in the military, they should be treated better than anyone else... Ive heard a lot of stories of people getting off tickets cause they were in the military... This guy was in the NG. he may have never been to Afganistan or Iraq...

Anyway the cop did over react and got the punishment he deserved

Re: Another cop PWND!!

From the story, I can see why the guy was enraged. He used to be a Marine, has friends overseas and friends that have been killed, and this guy tries to use his military status to get out of a ticket that he most likely deserved. I would be pissed too.

That being said, you would hope that people to whom the state gives guns, batons, and all kinds of great "how to kick the shit out of someone" training would be able to control themselves a bit more.

The cop was wrong, but the guy was a douchebag. They cancel each other out.

Re: Another cop PWND!!

It hit or miss with getting tickets and being in the service. I gotten out of a ticket because of military post decal sticker on my car. The cop noticed it and went back to his car and did a check I guess to make sure the car wasnt stolen. After all that was done came back thanked me for my service. I thanked him for his service and we went on our merry ways.

"He used to be a Marine, has friends overseas and friends that have been killed, and this guy tries to use his military status to get out of a ticket that he most likely deserved. I would be pissed too."

He isnt pissed, he has angry problems which need to be address. The other guys lucky he did not have a flashback or some crazy shit like that and kill him.

"No offense to any military people,(going off his remark) but what makes them think that being in the military, they should be treated better than anyone else"

Most of the military people dont expect to be treated different. I expect to be treated the same just like everybody else. I have been offered some perks for being in the military. I was offered first class a couple of times, which I refused. Every no and then I get a civilian who comes up to me and thanks me when I am in uniform. I got a free meal at the golden coral last monday.

"This guy was in the NG. he may have never been to Afganistan or Iraq..." I know a lot of active duty people who have not been to Iraq. Like this guy I am Army National guard. I joined shortly after 9-11 knowing that there might be a chance to go overseas. My unit has not have to oppurtunity to go to Iraq or Afgan. Most people in my unit try and volunteer but were turned down. Hopefully I wll have the chance and go overseas so I can serve my country, then I can call myself a veteran.

Like said, "no offense," im sure a lot of people dont expect to be treated differently. To me, his comment about "this is how your treat someone defending your country" sounded like he did. In MY opinion it sounded like a sympathy article (which it is cause of the officer). I guess im just venting cause some people get off tickets easier than others, like women.

Re: Another cop PWND!!

Funny, i got 3 tickets in 6 weeks when i was in the military... course i was still able to keep my license But it got me outta 1 or 2 too. I spent 15 months in Iraq and Kuwait, i never make it a point to say that though, some cops are just nice about it, and others dont give a rats ass.
