How to balance better in breakdancing?

Well, im starting to try breakdancing again, i can do handstands some, beginner kinda style Nike, the turtle. not spinning stuff since i practice on carpet and no where really to try the spins since i dont got alot of flat smooth ground.

But can anyone do handstands or breakdance? How did you balance better? So far, i just keep trying to do handstands, etc, and making my balance better. Im fit for my size also (Army PT, hooah) haha
so i think balance and endurance is my problem. and i think imma start doing vertical push ups on the wall to get stronger.

any advice?

kspec, you're bring back high school memories for me . i think before anything, you must have good upperbody strength and strong abs. that's what i lacked in high school so i couldnt do all that much. i got the windmill down and the windmill without using arms (forgot the name..jack hammer?). but i knew a good amount of bboys in the past. they would always tell me to just keep practicing and youll get it. i pass that message onto you hahahaha.

good luck dude, post some pics/vids!

I think that you're losing your balance due to the effects of the time warp you went through when you left 1985.

Re: How to balance better in breakdancing?

you can still find people doing it, of course is not as out there as back in the day, but dancer still do it and mix it with other stuff....

breakdancing is also about your style, find your style and just move, learn some basics stuff but you have to make it your own..... also feel the music, that helps move from one move to the next.... i never did it but i knew people that did
