HDTV

Howdy...

I was just wondering what everyone on here has to say about the newer HDTV's. Just as soon as i can afford it am going to be shooping for and buying a 42-50 inch hdtv. i was wondering what some of you may have, or if you have any suggestions or whatever. Ive always been a sony guy when it comes to home entertainment, everything i have right now is sony except my tv, so im leaning toward the new bravia line of tv's. im still nto sure exactly what i want when it comes to flat panel or projection or whatevr, i just know im staying away from plasma right now, because i still feel like plasmas arent at their peak(performance wise) as of yet, then theres the added cost of plasma recharging every once in a while and so on.

Re: HDTV

LCDs are coming down on price...but if you're not wanting to pay for the form factor, I would definitely recommend any of the quality DLP sets. Samsung makes some nice ones for a reasonable price...

Plazma > LCD > DLP

I've got a 62" Sony LCD....damn it's nice. I can't even watch regular DVDs on it, looks disgusting.

Re: HDTV

I have a 62 samsung DLP. Pretty good have no complaints. Was going to get a plasma but decided to go with the bigger tv. Sams Club has some pretty good prices.
