My father cracks me up!

My father can be very humurous at times. Ever since I got into cars in 1997 he has tried to impress me with his "knowledge" of cars. The way he tries to impress me usually ends up coming out very funny and makes him look not as smart as I know he really is. For example:

I was talking to him Saturday afternoon and he said "I saw in a magazine about a car called the Mazdaspeed 3 aka the wild child. Have you heard of the Mazdaspeed 3?" Now, he knows I am very into my car and cars in general, so it just makes me laugh even more (in a good way of course).

When I chuckle, he tries to come off like he was joking about it.

I love my father.

My dad knows alot about cars...but he is all about trucks....so he spends most of this time wondering and still trying to make me get a F-150

Re: My father cracks me up!

My father is an architect, so he has a very distinct way of telling stories and describing things. It's always made me laugh as a child. He's very technical when it comes to things. I remember years ago he called me from the side of the road when his TT broke down. He was asking me what was wrong with the car.

Re: My father cracks me up!

Kat, he called me at my work from the side of the road in Oakland. He was about a mile or so from the Audi dealership. I was correct about 2 of the items I thought it was.

Re: My father cracks me up!

My father was born in 1933 and is very untechnological. He had to have me come over to his house every time he bought a new electronic device. He would say something like " This farting ass thing I cant figure out how to use the romote" Funny shit indeed. I guess those are the things that make you love them even more. I love my father more for just being that guy that cant quite figure new stuff out and needs me to help.Makes me feel important in his life. Thank you Joelle for making me think of my Dad today.
