Dry Skin and Winter = Not fun

Since winter is rolling in and being in ROTC and the Army Reserves, i find myself waking up at 4:30-5 AM, and doing PT from 6-7AM outside in 50 degree windy weather.

Since im trying to get rid of acne, im using these products. But now my face gets drier easier i think. or just plain dry.

What "Real" Lotion out there is there that doesnt cause more pimples but is safe for the face and actually moisturizes?
The lotions that come with other acne fighting products is either Sunscreen for real or Sylicric Acid (Spelling?) and i am not supposed to use it with my acne medicine at the moment.

(By the way, its going away)

" i find myself waking up at 4:30-5 AM, and doing PT from 6-7AM outside in 50 degree windy weather." I was in the same situation in basic training. I use llubriderm for my face now but I dont break out as much. It sucks doing PT in the fall and winter my face get dry and hurts to were it hurts to put lotion on my skin.

Re: Dry Skin and Winter = Not fun

Got and check out the Clean and Clear brand, look for something that is "light" or "oil Free"

Itchy skin is one Extra Reason why I moved to PR and hate the cold. I hate being in the states and having dry skin, my back and face... yuck. And having to put on so much lotion. Leave me here in my little island with major humidity...

Good luck!

Re: Dry Skin and Winter = Not fun

I take the strongest acid I can find under the sink and dip my face in it.

TAKE IT LIKE A MAN. LOL

All that acid just "Melts" the acne away.

Re: Dry Skin and Winter = Not fun

You have to keep moisturizing after you wash. Its not gonna happen overnight, give it a few days.
