Frank Millers 300 (movie)

http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/300...er1/large.html

Should be pretty sweet, although the CGI looks a little weird in some spots. I always wondered when they would make a movie on this event (battle of thermopolis). The movie isnt based on the actual history but rather Frank Millers comic version called 300. I cant wait!

Although i;m not familiar with 300, the trailer looks realy sweet. I kinda like the cgi effects and the look of the film. Makes it look surreal, kinda like how sin city was, but with more color.

it DOES look freaking sweet but Im getting scared by the amount of money thats being spent on publicizing... could be extremely awesome or horribly bad. I hope for the first!

i remember i read once that you can tell a movie is good or not by the trailer, mainly if the trailer can tell you what the movie itself is about and gives you a general idea. its turned out to be like 90% right at least for my tastes. usually if i can tell what the movie is about in the trailer rather than trying to put a bunch of random screens from the movie together like a puzzle then i can decide for myself whether its good. basically its sort of the idea of hiding the story cause it will suck to those critical movie goers more than the casual.

basically the general idea of... if the movie is good then its got nothing to hide

also these are backgrounds for my zune
