Dumbass ricer civic...

first off its raining and theres no traffic, im driving down the road that leaves my complex and pass this riced out civic who apparently took it as some sort of a challenge (not that crazy since i was going full throttle and flew past him)

i approached my normal speed and the civic comes flying up behind me comes square on my bumper about 1/2 a car length behind me, this continues for about 1/4 of a mile before i get annoyed and floor it, and start pulling away, but by now we are at an intersection where i need to turn left, i start slowing down but the light turns green, i grin because i know theres no way the civic who is now right on my bumper again can poddibly follow me through the turn (especially wet) i take this turn everyday so i know my limits on it

so anyway, i think he cant but he does, he right on my bumper going into the turn, that is until the apex of the turn when i continue to turn but OH NOES ricer civic keeps going straight-ish, i watch in my rearview mirror with a combination of anticipation, fear, and a little bit of WTF PWNED as the mostly sideways civics front wheel nails the curb followed quickly by his rear wheel with enough force that it seemed like his left wheels might have come off the ground

content that ricer civic did not flip his car i stop gawking at the idiot and speed away, just slow enough to catch a glimpse of him pulling into the first available sideroad....

Re: Dumbass ricer civic...

Funny stuff. Similar story. I was driving along a stretch of road (35mph zone) when it had just started raining. As I'm coming up to a light at the top of a hill the car in front of my that had been granny driving for about a mile or so pulls into the right turn lane that just opened up. I oblige him and accelerate through the light as I really don't want to be behind him anymore, and we're next to each other as we go through the intersection. Apparently he thought it was a new straight lane vs. a turn lane and drove straight onto the curb, his right tires on the sidewalk, and his left digging a deep gouge in the wet grass strip between the sidewalk and the curb. He finally slid to a stop about 50' later. Poor bastard.... he didn't know the lane didn't keep going until he was on the curb.

^ hahaha...* Prot and Dr. Mark Powell.* I enjoyed that movie.*

As for Civic ricers, I saw such a hideous one the other day that I was kicking myself for not having a camera handy.

Re: Dumbass ricer civic...

I still think the worst/funniest ricers are the ones who have loose body kits. You see it on the freeway just shaking and you think its going to fall off and you blow by him cause if it does fall off i dont want to hit it, and they take it as a challenge so they race you. funny stuff
