Well, took 3 hours to take out the damn Resonator.

The bolts are inbetween pieces of plastic, so you need an extension and you can barely get the socket on the bolt, just enough so that if you push toward the bolt while you turn the ratchet it will loosen.

But we went for a ride, I have to say, it's quick, but it's not as quick as i thought it would be. It feels kinda heavy.
I tried to drive it, and i feel kinda embarassed, but the clutch was so hard and the throw was so short that i couldnt even drive it, ill take my buttery smooth clutch on my 3 anyday over that.

I loved my little test-drive in the Mazdaspeed6. I'd so get one.

+1. And I love the 'reverse lockout' on it, how you have to push the shifter literally down to throw it in gear.

Most 6spds you have to push down to engage reverse. A few, a very few you simply move the shifter over past 5/6 or before 1/2 and up to engage reverse without pushing the shifter in.

True. The only exception to that I can think of is my friend's Sentra SE-R, where it's just a straight over all the way, and up.

...and the SVT Focus, where reverse was up and to the left of first.

Some cars have a little ring around the base of the knob you lift up on to unlock reverse.
