Do people not understand WTF a Group Buy is??!?

So a few months ago i contacted Nabobery (an ebay seller) to see what the price would be for a product i wanted, specifically eyelids. We could end up saving $20 per painted eyelid pair if we got 10 people togeather. Excellent.

It turned out to be much easier if i collected the $66 from each buyer and then sent one lump sum with a summary of the order to Nabobery (rather than all 10 with seperate payments for one big order). This was all very clear in the Group buy thread, specifically in my OP.

So nabobery was slow getting them out to us, took nearly a month and when they arrived fitment wasn't so hot. Some people said they got them to fit fine, others had more trouble. Even mine don't fit totally right, but they are fine.

Anyway, now, nearly a month later again, i log into paypal and see one of the guys from the group buy just filed a dispute against MY paypal saying he is unhappy with the product and that the seller is unwilling to help him. He even mentions in his dispute that he's been talking to Nabobery directly about getting it to fit better. He is somehow equating ME with Speedline International. He even mentions in the dispute "I purchased "eye lids" for my car from this seller via my car forum. He sells this on ebay can be viewed by searching for item NO. 8045287867."

Rather than ask Nabobery for his money back, he files a dispute against MY paypal account. Thank god it was after 45 days and his dispute was denied, otherwise I would be screwed out of $66. I havent even recieved a single EMAIL/PM/ETC from this guy about his problems.

I really am sorry that he wasn't happy with the product he got (i'm not terribly happy with mine), but things brings up a point to me, do people even understand what a group buy is? Its typically organized by someone OTHER than the company itself, someone who just wants to get a product, benefit from group buying power, and share the benefit of the group buy power with others.
