triple ones

Today I drove to the town of Lafayette, CA to look at apartments, and my dashboard thermometer went up to ONE HUNDRED THIRTEEN. That's a new record for me by about ten degrees. I was sure that had to be an incorrect number, but accuweather.com verified a high of one hundred eleven. The thermometer works. And the AC kept up adequately, as long as I kept it set for internal recirculation.

Now I'm really questioning why I would move to a place that gets that hot. But out there in that heat is where my job is.

Re: triple ones

Don't think I could ever live in the heat that the entire Walnut Creek area experiences in the summer months. I'd rather live on the other side of the tunnel and commute.

Heh, I have seen 90+ the past few days. It dropped down to mid 80s today. You know the saying in Ohio, "if you don't like the weather, wait a few mins..."

EDIT:
For some reason, when I go to Weather.com it is only showing low 90s off and on... I dunno. I about died the other week from heat exhaustion. And the one day, even after running my car to lunch and back it still registered 100*+

Mine hit 124 today, but that was when it was parked. After I started driving, it was around 103.

It's still all about labels, isn't it. Sad. My name is Charlie and I'm a Sexually Alternative French American. Or a honkey fag, whichever. [/quote]
