Crossing the line?

I find this a bit disturbing. I can understand trying to make an artsy type movie to win an Oscar but don't you have to draw a line somewhere? Maybe it's beacuse I'm a parent, but some movie roles should be left undone...........

Way to sell, mom!

Re: Crossing the line?

This would ruin her career. Not to mention she shouldn't even be exposed to stuff like this at her age. Why would anyone want to see this anyways? Our world is becoming so disturbing.

Re: Crossing the line?

Some things are better left "implied" rather than "enacted", including scenes of child rape. I also believe the media is going too far. I also don't like the somewhat innocent sounding name of the movie. It sounds like an Old Yeller remake that's sure to surprise some unwary movie goers/renters.

If I never have to here that little girl screaming again (like in War of the Worlds), it will be too soon! I will definitely avoid this movie.

no, shes under the age where she could even THINK about legally detaching from her parents, so mostly likely her mother is getting a big fat check for making her daughter do that roll

her mom doesnt give a shit about the oscar she just wants the cash, and dont say she wants the oscar for her daughter so she will have a career for the rest of her life, any mother who cares about her daughter wouldnt et her take such a roll

its disfusting
