So I broke triple digits...

That's about it, broke triple digits on my speedo today. Cops are fairly ruthless in my area so I had to find a time when I knew they were busy with other things and I wouldnt have much trouble. Went out to a secluded country road that has a population of like 0 and a fenced off road (yay for no deer jumping out in front of me) and I got up to about 103 or so before i backed off for a turn. Ive done well over that on my motorcycle, but I just wanted to tell someone about the fun in my car.

I'm not cool enough to think of a signature right now, so this is what you get.

Re: So I broke triple digits...

I have topped mine out at 120. Or maybe it was 118. Somewhere around there.

Re: So I broke triple digits...

I would imagine it was 118 or less as the speed limiter is at 118 on all Mazda 3's other then the speed3 (155 on that supposedly, though that could be in non-US trim).

yeah....i would imagine 10ft would do but I know the little 5-6ft fences (what I see along most roads) are no challenge for them to clear

Re: So I broke triple digits...

the important part is that I didnt smash any of these super-duper-high-flying-10-foot-fence-jumping-magical-deer. =)

Re: So I broke triple digits...

Yeah, I hit just over 100 on my first highway trip, but the car was only 10 days old with maybe 400 miles on it, so I backed it down to about 90. I was surprised at how easily it got to 100...my last car was a Lincoln Mark VIII and it would hit 95 in second gear, with two left to go! So far, after having my "3" for three weeks now, I have to say it has not disappointed me.
