Anyone here works at GENENTECH?

Hi, i was wondering if anyone here works at Genentech? Because i'm majoring in Biology with emphasis on Cell, Molecular, and Developmental at UCR. I am very interested at biotech and as a matter of fact, i plan to have a career in the biotech field. I know Genentech is arguably the best biotech research company today, and i would like to get my feet in as an intern.

I was wondering if anyone who works there can give me advice (or at any other biotech companies) as to how to get it, because i would like to work throughout the school year. (The deadline for summer internships was the same week as my winter quarter's finals' week, so i missed it) Genentech has a facility in Oceanside, i want to work there during the school year, and during the summer, i'll come back to the Bay to work at genentech's main facility.

I do have quite a few of laboratory experience. I've done PCRs and have worked with restriction enzymes, have extracted my own DNA to be sequenced. On top of these biotech labs, i have the required organic chemistry labs and biology labs from my lower division work. I know that's not a whole lot and not very specific, but i hope it's sufficient?

Thanks in advance
