buying an XBOX 360 on ebay

Has anyone done this. I just want to know how to avoid the bad sellers. How to identify a good seller. What to do if what i get is a piece of crap and so forth. I would like a 360 Im just not willing to shell out the cash for a new one.

Re: buying an XBOX 360 on ebay

i wouldnt buy one outside of north america, I would ONLY use paypal or some kind of system that takes credit cards... Other than that just READ ALL THE FINE PRINT... People make things look great then at the very end say oh yeh it doesnt work, all sales final, and in that case you are screwed for not reading it all...

I saw someone selling a xbox 360 box. He even said in the description. You are bidding on this xbox 360 box. You get whats inside which is nothing. and yet the highest bidder was up to 164.00

yeah ebay usually deleted those ads because of possible misunderstandings. They have been getting better about it.

back in the day, a person i knew(not a friend), bought a picture of a laptop....yup you read that right, he got sent a picture in his email box for a 1800 dollar purchase.

ebay got him back 200 dollars but that's it.

Re: buying an XBOX 360 on ebay

Seek for sellers with 100% positive feedbacks and with lots of them... or at least something close to 100% as possible. I wouldn't buy anything more than $200 on ebay cause well, you don't get to see/touch large moolas items you're buying before you buy it. And imagine it could possibly turn out to be a defective item, that's back and forth laggy shipping and extra charges. You should probably seek a 360 that is selling in your local areas before buying it on ebay.

I looked at my local gamestop and they sell used ones for 260 and new ones for 300.....are you kidding me???

Yeah Im really skeptical about this so Im taking it slow and going to try and check the seller background very closely.

Meanwhile since I setup a paypal account I can look into selling my hordes of cards now

I always shop on ebay, and it's been good with me. 100% of 100 feedbacks for me, both seller and buyer. I read everything in the description first, and then check seller's feedback.
