My fun with a sink hole

[/rant]
Anybody ever seen those sinkholes that swallow houses and dogs and crazy shit like that?* I had a wanna-be sink hole attack my truck today while I was out working, stupid bastard thought he could win.*

I was making a delivery to a customer when all of the sudden the right side of the truck dipped, I thought I was going over.* Long story short, truck needs new springs in the rear, an alignment and most of the freight needed some TLC.* We had to call a big-rig tow truck out which spent half an hour yanking and pulling trying to get my truck out.*

I had a good arguement with the Landlord for about an hour and he finally agreed to pay for all of the repairs.* I don't know if he is obligated to but with all the yelling I did he sure felt like it was his fault.

I don't really know why I posted this, I guess for all of the pity I'm not going to get. But now I hate dirt more than I hate UPS.*

Oh ya, here are some pics, note the one pic of the truck wheels 14" down and the other pic of the wheels on the other side off the ground. The slamed look is good for the 3 but not for a 5-ton, or is it....?
[/end rant]

Re: My fun with a sink hole

Should have told the land owner to be happy you did not rip a fuel tank off or the epa could have came for a visit to. That would not be fun.

If you look for the bad in people expecting to find it, you surely will.

That sucks man! Glad to hear that you are ok. Were the contents in the truck damaged, or did they just get thrown about and you had to move everything about in the trailer? Glad to hear that the owner of the land is willing to help out as well. Good luck with everything.
