Pirates Dead Mans Chest.......

Wasnt as good as the first one. Still just an average film at best. However the ending really leaves you hanging for the 3rd one and alot of people sighed in a good way though including me. Few nice surprises thrown in the movie as well. Hopefully the 3rd one will be better than this one. My rating 5/10.

Re: Pirates Dead Mans Chest.......

I liked this film a lot. Lots of progression from the first film in a good way. The film kept its darker themes, some scenes felt scarily creepy, which was a damn good thing. Jack Sparrow is an asshole in this one, and i love it... finally acting like a pirate. I love the fact that the humor was so brilliantly tied into the seriousness of the film. Action sequences were absolutely stunningly beautiful (CG), and I loved the flow of the movie, really cool. I give it an A-

I will be seeing this next weekend. I've heard mixed reviews, and its actually been dropping its rating from the critics in the past few days.

This is true... a lot of the time, the critics are wrong anyways. They are old and don't really know what a "good" movie is these days.

Re: Pirates Dead Mans Chest.......

i saw it tonight

awesome movie and the CGI was incrediable!!

i can't wait for the 3rd one, i thought the segway into the 3rd one was great with geoffrey rush

i want a photo of jack sparrow's final stance against the crackin with his mouth wide open and jack's sword is pointed straight at the thing--the 2nd movie reminded me more of those older classic pirate movies--def. a lot going on through the movie, very busy movie, but very nicely done--again, can't wait for the 3rd one

ps: keira knightly is way to hot for her own good

Agreed about how cool jack sparrow's final stance against the krakken was, and about keira knightleys royal hotness (she needs to gain some weight to gain some curves)
