VW Rabbit

Anyone seen the new VW rabbit commercial?? Great stuff, especially the mutli-color paneled rabbits after they come out of the tunnel.* I tried looking for it online, but no dice.

Good ol' YouTube

Re: VW Rabbit

Yeah, it was good, but if I were to buy a V-Dub, I'd get a GTI.

Re: VW Rabbit

I will consider one once I need a new car in 3-6 years. If I were to buy a new car all over again I would be getting either a Mazda 3i or s, or a 2006 VW GTi or 2006 VW Jetta 2.0T, probablly the jetta 2.0T over the GTi as the extra space is a good thing. The milage is close to what the 3s can manage and its power to weight and especially torque to weight are better then the 3s (only a bit better power to weight, quite a bit better power to weight) and that 6spd trans would be nice.

Of course it is a larger more portly car and doesn't seem to offer quite the same level of handling and braking, but it is supposed to be fairly good in those departments.

Anyway, just me. If they offered the 2.0T engine in the rabbit, especially the 4 door with a 2.0T (or maybe even grow that 2.0 to a 2.2 or 2.3L FSI turbo engine) and I would have to think long and hard about it the next time I buy a car (depending on what the next gen Mazda 3 looks like in a few years).

Re: VW Rabbit

Gotta love the marketing on that commercial. Multiplying rabbits, the multi colored one, haha, I love the one with the tire spinning.
