Resealable undies?!

So, I bought some underwear today... and the package has a zip-lock type sealing mechanism. They advertise "Resealable Bag" on the front of the package.
Since I'm at a loss (or I'm just having a stupid day), could someone please tell me for what reason one would need a resealable underwear package?

Am I supposed to take one out of the bag and seal the other one to keep it fresh?

Re: Resealable undies?!

The packaging was originally developed in Japan for women's underwear. It would preserve the freshly-worn essence until you deposit your 1500 yen in the vending machine down the street.

lol, i heard they recently passed legislation making it illegal to sell used girl's underwear from vending machines...

...if the girl is under 13!

Maybe it's for travelers...keeps worn ones sealed away from clean stuff in your suitcase? I keep socks and undearwear in a separate sealed section in my suitcase (it's built in for that purpose).

Not that my ass or feet stink. They smell like roses, just like my farts!

Re: Resealable undies?!

But seriously, a ziplock bag is a ziplock bag. Use it as you see fit.

Re: Resealable undies?!

Maybe I can put my old undies in there, take them back, and tell them there must have been an air leak in the package because they spoiled?
