Any East Coast People SICK of the RAIN yet?

Since Saturday, we (in Western MD) have accumalated over 10'' of rain. Just south of us in DC, they have accumulated over 20'' of rain since then.

Sunday and today have been the two worse days. Finally, my parent's basement gave in tonight and started to leak. So, all night I've had fun with the wet vac and blankets.

I'm beginning to REALLY dislike rain right now.

Anyone have a life peserver or a boat I can borrow?

I don't have a life vest... BUT I do have those orange swimmies that go on your arms... they are so cool.

I am getting a little sick of the rain... no 10" here, but still highly annoyed by it all

I can deal with rain (I kinda like rainy afternoons sometimes), but humidity is my Achilles' heel.

We've probably had almost 10 inches here. *They are saying the sussquehanna might run over the dikes tonight / tomarrow. *I highly dobut it, but if it happens it will be mayhem in Wilkes-Barre (main city near me).

I was out helping people get water out of their houses and stores from 9pm-11pm

It's not too bad around here. We had a little bit of a drizzle earlier today... then the sun came out again.

The rain finally stopped here! arty:

I have no idea how much total we have had since friday, but i know that my pool is certainly filled up now (too much in fact). Judging by the pool level, we probably got about 6 inches or so. Another 1-2 inches and it would have been flowing over the edge

Yes, very sick of the rain and having to go to easton everyday in it. I have also lost my power the last two nights, so far tonight we still have it *knock on wood*.

I'd imagine losing power could be the best thing if you have a girl around...

The trick is convincing your parents that they need to get out of the house :-P
