Rutgers University in New Brunswick

any Rutgers students/graduates? or have friends or relatives attending Rutgers?

im looking to transfer to Rutgers or NYU next spring. im leaning towards Rutgers because NYU is too damn pricey. i will be looking to get my B.A in Accounting at Rutgers. some people are asking me why im transfering to Rutgers for Accounting when i can transfer to UIUC (Unviersity of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) which has the best Accounting program in the country. and i live on UIUC with my brother so transfering here would be more ideal.

however the midwest is an extremely boring place for me. im not too fond of the farms and cornfields out here and just the central Illinois mentality that these people obtain.

but anyways, im kind of curios of Rutgers and its students and staff. the environment, the people, parties, bars, etc. anyone know anything of Rutgers?

4 of my cuz;s went there and I have one cuz there. I live about 5/10 min from rugters. I was accpeted but decided not to go.

It is a crazy school. A lot of parting and education is good even though their sports arent the best.

girls are NUTS there. At least a few that I know of.

New Brunswick is very city like with 15+ plus floor buildings all over the place. Rugters also has a bunch of campuses in a few towns in the area.

aw man, i did not want to hear that. Rutger sounds awesome so far other than the std problem. but that problem is everywhere these days so...Rutgers has like 5 different colleges. Rutgers College, Douglass, Livingston, University, Rutgers Business. im aiming at Rutgers Business. are these 5 colleges all on the same campus in Brunswick?

Re: Rutgers University in New Brunswick

THEY ARE all w/in the same general area..if not they do offer compus transportation..plus rutgers is close to about 3-4 other university's in the jersey, penn, ny area. Other than that "std" problem, which ur right is everywhere, it's a lot of fun...all the frat's and soroity's are in one area...and i mention again... THE GREASE TRUCKS ARE AMAZING!!!!!

sweet so everything's pretty much walking distance. and there's always public transportation which is probably free for the students. gosh Rutgers would be great. sick of this damn boring, plain midwest. how far is New Brunswick from NYC?
