Ultraviolet<<the movie

Pretty much sucked. Whored storyline, odd lighting. I was bored, but not bored enough to turn it off. I take it the comics were probably better.

Re: Ultraviolet<<the movie

I almost cursed the ticket office for taking my $8 to see that movie. It was horrible and took WAY WAY too long to finish.

They could have shortened it considerably and just called it "Mila's Ass in 30 Seconds."

I actually liked that over Aeon Flux. Both story lines sucked tho. That lighting effect in Ultraviolet I thought was not as good as Sky Captain's.

BTW, how come that "cure" in Ultraviolet was also the "cure" in XMen. I think he was also a cure in another movie. Damn, that kid gets around.

I have been waiting for this movie to hit DVD for a while as I didn't get to see it in the movies. I wasn't too impressed with Aeon Flux. I'm looking forward to the fights in Ultraviolet.

Hey! It is people like you who cause actors to get sterotyped to a role, and then all you see is that actor in those types of roles.

I think just because of you that actor is going to be playing bit roles as 'the cure' in every movie he is in. You watch, becuase of your sterotyping he is probably going to show up in "Weekend at Bernies III" as 'the cure'.

Yeah I wasn't big on the movie. Not totally terrible...but not worth the $14 I spent for myself and my lady to go and see it (and she agrees...we both loved Xmen 3 though). Didn't see Aeon flux, though I wanted to (not so disappointed now).

I was going to see it in the theatre until I saw it was only 80+ minutes. Sorry but to go out to a movie, I need closer to 2 hours minimum to make it worth my time. I did end up DLing it, it was ok...The directors cut is even worse just for the fact that it didn't add anything to the movie at all.

no, it's his agent's fault for pitching him as a good "cure/messiah" role to the cast people

Re: Ultraviolet<<the movie

Thanks for bringing that up. That was something I deffinitely didn't like is a lot of the computer graphics were extremely crude, something I would expect either in a VERY low budget film, or something that was made about 10 years ago. Especially the helicopter...that looks like I rendered it on my computer at home (I have rendered stuff with about that many polys before).
