I find Mazda's Customer service to be very unwilling to help

I just got an 06 3 GT loaded to the max, my 3rd Mazda3 in 3 years and my last....

I find that they are unwilling to go an extra mile to help me. I have a concern about a 1700.00 option, my navi and they sound like it's chump change...

If you are monitoring this Mazda which I know you do, you can get a hold of me here.

But for now, I will use this car till spring 07 and then say good bye for good....

Whoa... it'd be interesting to hear more about what is going on.

One thing to be careful about, is that the dealer network is not a part of Mazda of North America. The dealers have the Mazda logo everywhere and they sell Mazda - but dealers work independently of the Mazda Motor Corporation, and Mazda Corporate isn't allowed to circumvent their dealer network by providing service that dealers *should* be doing. So, if a dealer isn't up to snuff, Mazda has to get the dealer's butt in gear with various incentives (as opposed to forcing the dealer to step up or start suffering layoffs of employees).

If one dealer is being vague in not fixing your SatNav - you may have to go to another dealership, but it's the dealer's fault for being unresponsive... Mazda just suffers when its dealers suck.

It seems she is complaining about how much Nav. cost her! But that's about right for any car to have it, $1500-2000 or more is the going price!

Mazdaspeed CAI Mazdaspeed Catback
25% tint all the way around LED 3rd brake light

Whippet!!! Sorry, couldn't resist.

Hey, it sounds like she has a problem with her high-dollar feature... not really that she wants to add it on. Hmmmm

Well, the SatNav is one of those things that is hella awesome... just always something that cost too much

Re: I find Mazda's Customer service to be very unwilling to help

No, this is what sucks

Some of the feature don't work, like color selections for maps. The white map is hard to see in the day.
my 04 m3 I could change the color to dark green. If you select a color, it does not work. And I don't mind paying for my money's worth....

I need the navi for work...in sales

ps, i ask Mazda what date should the data be and they said go talk to navteq, and navteq go talk to mazda.....on and on

wow... I wonder if you can grab the DVD Nav from that one and shove it in the new one.

I do agree, if somebody pays that much coin for a sat-nav... it better work flawlessly. I know it's a pain, but I think you will find more luck going to another mazda dealership. I know Mazda-Corporate probably hates hearing that someone needs a new sat-nav (because it's expensive), but in your case, I think a reasonable dealership will make a reasonable accomodation to your situation. The dealer you're getting now just seems crappy.
