Car Compliments

What is/was the best compliment you've ever been given for your Mazda3?

Re: Car Compliments

got lazy and went to EZ lube to have my oils changed, the guy ended up cleaning my engine bay for free.

i asked: "Why are you doing this for free?"

he replied: "I love nice cars that's all."

This came from an African American, in his 50s. Says he restores car and some of them were parked in the parking lot, one of them was a 280zx and man, i was impressed by his work.

Re: Car Compliments

Best car compliment was last year. Driving home late one night on the highway after a game. Going at a moderate pace, sorta spaced out in the middle lane. Noticed this celica following me and then staying to my right. Guy with his girl (really hot), honks his horn a couple of times, I turn my head, he screams.. ."nice car, gave me the thumbs up." He stayed on my side for a bit and then exited off a ramp. At the time there weren't a lot of white Mazda 3 sedan's with HID, tints, spoiler, etc. Now there a dime a dozen.

Re: Car Compliments

Heading to a wedding my friends and I ended a 2 hour trip at a dunkin' donuts - We got there early so we had time to grab some breakfast. Standing outside, drinking my coffee, a woman (in her early 40s) steps out of her SUV and begins parading around my car. Curious, I head over and ask if everything is ok. "I really like this car..." Starting chatting about mileage, showed her the sticker (this was maybe 3 months after I picked it up) and before you know it I hopped in the passenger seat, tossed her my keys, and said "just drive it." She was so appreciative she bought me another cup of coffee - all was well until I got back to the car with my friends who were wondering where the hell I went for 10 minutes...

Re: Car Compliments

^^ lol i like that one

i get compliments all the time about one thing or another that i have done to my 3. i was at the dealership the other day for service when an older couple wanted to know all about my sharkfin cause they liked the look of it so much compared to the stock whip on their brand new 06 of course haha. i get alot of comments from strangers when im filling up saying "nice looking car, sweet color 8), what kind of car is it" and i am always getting looks from about everyone everywhere i go.

Wow, you let a strange woman drive your car?!? I don't even let my mom drive my car, or my girlfriend at that. That is freaking crazy...

Re: Car Compliments

I've had a couple of women say the car is "pretty"...???...Had a co-worker who loves cars say "nice ride"...I've seen people obviously scope out the car.

Tit Gray Sedan, S model. No spoiler or side sills. Still a sharp car- every time I look at it, I'm proud of it.
