This is AWESOME!!! Secret Worlds: The Universe Within

View the Milky Way at 10 million light years from the Earth. Then move through space towards the Earth in successive orders of magnitude until you reach a tall oak tree just outside the buildings of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida. After that, begin to move from the actual size of a leaf into a microscopic world that reveals leaf cell walls, the cell nucleus, chromatin, DNA and finally, into the subatomic universe of electrons and protons.

Wow. Definitely puts into perspective of how TEENY TINY our solar system is - Earth is and the people residing there. On the flip side, shows how big 'space' is and how amazing it is that God made the TEENY TINY earth in such an un-imaginable 'space'. Now, now - restrain the negativity from all the anti-God folks. 8)

Bah... it only goes down to 10^-16 meters. They need a better zoom lens. :P

anybody play around with the google satellite thing?

it utillizes those high powered satellites that can read license plates n shit. its actually crazy. you can input an address, and the program will zoom in onto the house or whatever from space. its crazed.

Re: This is AWESOME!!! Secret Worlds: The Universe Within

That is sad, that is only like a 35-35,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000mm telephoto zoom lense. Seriously, modern digital camera lenses are so much crappier then the old film SLR lenses. THIS IS WHY I PREFER THE OLD STUFF!

That is amazing. Makes you wonder at the series of chances that occured for our Earth to form all on its own and life to develop and evolve into us with no deific intervention (I had to).

We can resurrect (no pun intended) any one of the 25 threads on that topic.

Stop it stop it!

You guys are making it to tempting to make amusing anti-religous comments!

I agree, lets enjoy the scenery and pray that no one brings up any of the other debates.
