DUI's

Why does it seem that nearly every time someone gets into an accident while drunk, they usually have a history of DUI's? That should not be an option. Our laws concerning those idiots are far too stringent. If the driver fails the breath test it should work like this...

1st offense. Offenders keys are locked in car, $1000 ticket given, cop leaves offender at scene, no matter the cicumstances. License lost for one year.

2nd offense. Offenders car is impounded by the police with NO option of recieving the car back. $5000 ticket and 90 days in jail. License revoked for life.

3rd offense. Offender executed within 30 days.

Thats right, no courts or legal bs, there is no question the law was broken. I'm sure this will cut down on a lot of unnecessary deaths. Yes whine its harsh, but what about when its you or someone you love that gets hit??

Re: DUI's

I have a casual female friend that got two within I think 3-4 months time. The second one, the cop failed to show in court so she walked with a fine and lost her license for 6 months and has to get one of those breathlyzer things to start her car with. I thought for sure she'd get some jail time.

He needs to be put down.

In california they want to give people who have had two or more DUIs in ten years a special license plate.

I thought thy outlawed that.. some constitutional right bullscrap..

When I was taking my tesst the driving school instructor pointed it out and had some chickles about it..

But seriously I love the policy in the fist thread...

There is no excuse or even question the law was broken...there reall needs to be more functioning way to keep them off of the roads..

I am not sure how to do it in a real wold though.

Re: DUI's

A guy I know has had 3 DUIs over the course of 3 years. He has served 0 days in jail and has lost his license for a total of 3 months, but was still allowed to drive to work and school.

A revolution gets its name by always coming back around in your face.

Re: DUI's

I've personally never driven while intoxicated and i never will. I find it very irresponsible to drive while even having .01 level in your body.
