Re: Strange Military Instructions and Info

OK, I decided to post this on here.* For the few military guys on the forums that might not have seen this, enjoy.* *
My personal favorites are #87, #98, and #200

http://www.skippyslist.com/skippylist.html
The Skippy List

Explanations of these events:

a) I did myself, and either got in trouble or commended. (I had a Major shake my hand for the piss bottle thing, for instance.)
b) I witnessed another soldier do it. (Like the Sergeant we had, that basically went insane, and crucified some dead mice.)
c) Was spontaneously informed I was not allowed to do. (Like start a porn studio.)
d) Was the result of a clarification of the above. (“What about especially patriotic porn?”)
e) I was just minding my own business, when something happened. (“Schwarz...what is *that*?” said the Sgt, as he pointed to the back of my car? "Um....a rubber sheep...I can explain why that's there....&quot

The blast range of a standard hand grenade is always 3 feet greater than your jumping range.

Re: Strange Military Instructions and Info

I've gotta say though, the 5 second fuse is always 3 seconds is so true. I've heard to many stories where it didn't last that long. Better safe then sorry when handling something that might take some fingers (or a head) off.

The tracer crap is also so true.

If we always listened to the the advice and realized any attack that was going well was an ambush there would be a lot less succesful ambushes through history. The result of most disasterous battles is not one general over matching another or bringing over whelming force to the field of battle, it was one over confident idiot leading a bunch of good men into a trap (and sometimes it doesn't even look like a trap, but hey, if a meat grinder had a sign "insert falice here" some idiot is going to stick it in there to see what happens). To many examples to list them all, but think General Custered, Lucius Cassius Longinius, Diem Bien Phu etc, etc, etc
