People that drive with dogs on their laps

Does this drive anyone else nuts?? That has got to be unsafe. Especially when the driver is holding them or they are leaning against the drivers arm to poke out the window. That should be a major ticket. I want to get a dog whistle or a biscuit and keep it in my car and use it to drive them nuts.

Why's it dangerous? :P

I personally hate when people put their feet on my dash cuz I can't imagine what will happen if the airbags deploy...

I guess you'll have puppy juice all over you in this case.

When I see things like that (especially those people that carry their pooches around like babies), I just take comfort in the fact that the dogs are more intelligent than the owners. Sometimes you have to wonder who owns who.

A cop-friend of mine was telling me about an accident he worked...Two people in a car, passenger had his feet on the dash. Sitting in traffic, car gets rear-ended. Hits car in front. If the car had been going ANY slower at all, the airbags wouldn't have gone off. It was JUST powerful enough to set them off....and it blew the guys legs up through the windshield, which cut off both his feet at the ankles.

Oh man... don't evne get me started!

<cfrant>

Please and their tiny little f*cking dogs! Yeah yeah... I know someone in here is gonna jump on me because I'm talking shit and blah blah blah... but f*ck that! It is not cute or safe to drive with your dog on your lap! I see it all the time, middle aged lady, talking on the phone, drinking her starbucks, and kissing her pooch while it jumps up and down on her lap, WTF! Here's a f*cking idea! DRIVE BITCH!

Then we got the example of my gf's mom, she has to little.. furry... I don't even know what they are, they are small brown dog and make weird noises, anyway, her own daughter and I will come into the house while visiting after not seing her for days, maybe weeks... and we'll be lucky to get a "Hey... what's going on?" But when the 2 little f*ckers come running down the stairs (mind you she was just with them) she will go nuts over them: "aww, mah little baby! what are my little princesses doing?! you want yo mommy dontcha?!" WTF! aarrggg... I want to take them both home and feed them to my dog... a REAL dog... not those... rodents.

Agree with Juan -- don't get me started. *We have some neighbors who do this all the time with their dog. *Long story short, that whole family reminds of the guys in "Dumber Than Dumb". *It's not just the dog thing with them, but ....... *well, it's a long list of how many dumb things they do on a routine basis.

My dog "owns" me but never, ever rides on my lap in the car. Always in the backseat.
