Some of the stupidest things on EBAY

I was looking for an intake for my mom's Dodge Ram. There are sooooo many fakes that almost looked real, so I decided to e-mail the seller of a reasonable looking system.

This is what I asked him/her......
Quote:
Item: DODGE RAM HEMI 5.7L V8 COLD AIR INTAKE 03-05 FULL SETUP (8043736368)
This message was sent while the listing was active.
kodiac1386 is a potential buyer.

Does this system cause CEL? Do you have a return policy?

The reply:

From Gary* Tan (intake_power).

CEL? please explain
Needless to say I did not bother wasting my time explaining but I just changed my mind. Let's see what he says.....

My Response:

Quote:
Check Engine Light

Are there any fitment issues?? It looks like a CAI but is it a SRI?
Can you e-mail me any listings you have for SRIs please.

Thanks,
Sean
What kind of responses do you get on e-bay??? What kind of stupid items do you see listed?

"It's all about the benjamin baby" Dude, it's ebay, people gets rip off and make a living ripping off on there. Quality comes at a cost... then again there's things on ebay that are good and cheap that you won't find elsewhere.
