Re: Carfax reports

You can search by VIN number and it will tell you the history of the car ie. accidents, lemon law, mileage data...Not always exact though.

Re: Carfax reports

Just for shits and giggles if no one is going to use it, see if it tells the whole story. Run 1yvfp80c534m24614 thats the vin off of my totalled 6. It should show 2 accidents. One rear end collision with about 2k in damage and the other frontal impact which totalled the car.

Just if your's is about to expire and want to use it somehow.

Re: Carfax reports

Got a "VINguard Vehicle History Information" report w/ my market report for my totalled 3 and it had 3 different things reported: 1. When I got into the 1st accident 2. When they finally got an estimate for the 1st accident and 3. the accident that totalled it (didn't say it was totalled tho) ... I guess they report it as soon as the accident happens and then again once they know what the actual cost was, which is good, because as soon as you report something its on there- unlike the last car I bought that didn't have anything on the report, yet it was definatly in an accident.

The story of this 2003 MAZDA 6I (1YVFP80C535M24614) according to our interpretation of the information reported to CARFAX:
This sedan has had 2 owners and was owned in Florida. The first title for this sedan was reported to CARFAX by a Florida DMV in 2003.
It was severely damaged and issued a Junk title or certificate by a Florida DMV.
It has not been reported by a DMV as having an Exceeds Mechanical Limits or Not Actual Mileage title.
It has a consistent mileage history with no indication of an odometer rollback. It was driven an average of 16,991 miles per year, which is slightly higher than the industry average of 15,000. The last odometer reading, reported on 05/19/2005, was 31,240 miles.
It was not reported by a DMV as a Manufacturer Buyback (LEMON).
It has no recalls that still require repair.
Its original manufacturer warranty was voided after it was severely damaged.
Go to the Detailed Vehicle History for the complete history and a glossary of terms.

Got this 1st though
The VIN you entered: is invalid.
However the VIN you entered is very close to those listed below.

1YVFP80C535M24614 2003 MAZDA/6I/2.3L L4
