TICKET FOR 135 IN A 50!!!!

Well I was talking to a friend from school, his mom owns a black hatch, and its all stock, he recently got his license taken away, and he is telling me its for doing 135 in a 50 in his moms 3, I called BS because it has a limitor at 118, he said well long story but no govenor because my dad ordered it from canada cuz he wanted black and there werent many black ones around, and they dont govern the cars there, and then they paid a few hundred for a chip (only mod)...

my question is....is this even possible??? I HIGLY doubt it!

plus the ticket he said was for only 274 because he talked to the officer and the officer saw he just joined the navy, plus there were 2 girls in the back seat balling there eyes out. so he let him go cheaper... I CALL BS!! whatcha think?

Re: TICKET FOR 135 IN A 50!!!!

i think its possible if no govener

at ~118 it still has some juice left

and alot of speed happens in the last couple 1000 rpms
-to back that up my old prelude would be at 5k going about 120 then at 6200 it would be resting on 140 (far as it went)

Of course this is all done on a "track"

Major BS...first of all there arent a whole lot of roads that have a 50mph speed limit that you can get up to 135pmh let alone in a 3 which we all know is not possible without a turbo. and if there were 2 girls in the back seat i would assume that the cop would increase the amount of the ticket for endangerment of another persons life. also i do believe that in some states that if you drive over 100mph that you automatically lose your liscence and are sent to jail. well thats what they told me when i got a ticket a few years back in my moms malibu....99 in a 60 in the car pool lane...so i call BS

Re: TICKET FOR 135 IN A 50!!!!

Also....if he ordered a car from cananananananada, it would have a KM/H speedo cluster. And, lets not even mention there's no chips for the 3 yet, unless you count the "solder in speed chips / resistors" on ebay as a chip, lol.

However, with no governor, its entirely possible for this car to go 135, but I agree with BC3I about needing a TON of space to do it. My previous car with about 50 more horses took a long ass time to get up to 135. And that was after putting a new PCM in it to get rid of the 108mph limiter.

A revolution gets its name by always coming back around in your face.
