new car keyed : (

well it happened sooner than i thought it would. some worthless p.o.s keyed my car. got one estimate so far ....$537 insane.

i cant find a garage to keep it in. so im looking into a car cover, will that help it?

also i could possible put surviellance camera pointing towards it. i have one video camera with the mini vhs tape carteridge. any idea how i could record it overnight?

I don't think a car cover would help, if anything it might attract more people. That sucks though.

I will never understand why people do this. I can see beating the shit out of someone that pisses you off, but keying their car? That's just bullshit.

That really sucks. Goes to show how some people are just jealous bastards that don't want anyone else to have anything nice. The same thing happened to my brother when he got his new avalanche. I just got my 2nd 3 and I'm paranoid about it as well. I hate the temporary plates as they attract attenion. I can't wait until my permanent ones arrive.

I agree whole-heartedly! Just two weeks ago some teens came through my complex in the early morning and shot out several SUV back windows (including mine) with a damn pellet gun!*
