Who's familiar with Paint Shop Pro?

Ok, it has been a while since I have played with this program, but I want to again. My problem.. I'm trying to use a Plug-in effect and I can't seem to find out where to get it from. Let me explain, went to a tutorial, downloaded a filter plug-in. I saved it in the Plug in folder. I can see it there. But when I go to the Paint Shop program, I don't know what to click on to get to this plug in effect. I go to Effects - get a drop down menu - with all kinds of effects, but nothing that says "Plug ins" or "Ripple" wich is the name of the filter. Can someone PLEASE help me with this. I'm sure its probably soemthing REALLY simple. Thanks....

ITS psp 7. I bought it like 2 years ago when I was living in WA for $15. I had a lot of free time... (my x-hub was out at sea).. anyways.. its nothing fancy just something to keep busy with.

PSP 7 can basically do anything Photoshop can, and it's a hell of a lot less complicated.

Anyway, what plug-in are you trying to use? I haven't used any myself, but I could probably figure it out if you tell me where to get the plug-in.

Re: Who's familiar with Paint Shop Pro?

^^^ Lol!

I just remember PSP from years back, and then it didn't stand a chance against Photoshop. I think Frosty meant PSP was easier, and it probably is, since Photoshop is only easy once you figure it out.

As for your prob, which nobody has addressed yet, I dunno but maybe it was copied to the wrong place? :P Are there any more folders inside the Plug-ins directory?

Re: Who's familiar with Paint Shop Pro?

Maybe I'm off-base here, but you mentioned you have PSP7 and the message you're linking to states that PSP9 is required.

If that isn't the problem, maybe this will help...?
