Michael J Fox has revealed that he's in talks to do another Back To The Future

I hope Sylvester Stalones talk of another Rocky movie didn't inspire this.

Michael's Future Plan

Ding dong... not only is it nearly Christmas, but we've got some seriously good news for you.

Michael J Fox has revealed that he's in talks to do another Back To The Future movie.

If you didn't have enough after the first three films, then the news will seem like the biggest Christmas cracker of all.

However, MJ does have one condition - his character has to have aged as much as he has in real life.

The Spin City actor, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, first starred as Marty McFly in 1985, followed by subsequent outings in 1989 and 1990.

He admits that he's currently in negotiations for a final film in the series, but wants to take over Christopher Lloyd's eccentric scientist character, Doc.

"The only way it would work would be if I played Doc. I'm 44 years old now and I'm not interested in running around on skateboards," he told Moviehole.net.

"I think after 1, 2 and 3 we all kind of felt we had done it.

"And I think if they did it again now, they would do it with a younger cast and just do a different realisation of it, which would be fun."

Bring it on.

Re: Michael J Fox has revealed that he's in talks to do another Back To The Future

Hmm, I'm a HUGE fan of the series and it could be risky doing another one this many years later. I don't know if it would work, but Fox is right. It would be best if he played Marty McFly as aged in current day. I don't see a problem with bringing in "DOC" too, Christopher Lloyd, that woudl be only right to include him as well. Just make "Doc" alot older and Marty aged as normal.

As for the plot? I don't know, without Marty McFly playing his young character and doing all the "hoverboard" and DeLorean scenes going from year to year just wouldn't be right. It's hard to think of an appropriate plot for the aged Marty and Doc. If possible, it would be best to get the original Directors and Producers who did the 3 originals and have the work on a 4th together. It would only work the best that way. I hate when they attempt to make a sequel years later and use a different Director & Producer that didn't do the originals, then it turns out shitty. I would hate to see this happen to Back to the Future, it would be a disgrace. MJ Fox is smart, I trust he'll only do it if it's right.
