woot.com

Well, I know its been mentioned before in the forumns ... but I did not find a thread for it when I searched so ....

WHO else uses woot.com?

you may be asking WTF is woot.com you newb.
Well www.woot.com is a site that has one deal everyday. They reset at midnight. Its always something different ... sometimes good, sometimes really stupid. So check it out or else die.

...I've already invested in a bread maker ... as dumb as that sounds

Re: woot.com

Hey now.... bread makers rule!! I got one a couple months ago. There's nothing like fresh, gourmet bread whenever the hell you feel like it!

Re: woot.com

Man, waiting for a specific item (besides, of course, the BOC) is totally contrary to the spirit of woot! It's all about the impulse buying, the needless snapping-up of stuff you can't live without (or so they would have you think), the herd mentality that generates the online version of black friday chaos!

just joshing. But personally I go a little insane if I try and wait for a particular item...

Re: woot.com

Woot really sells mostly bullshit crap, but it's still entertaining. I've been amused by their site for some time.

Yeah, actually I coulda gone for that. I really need an 802.11g card for my laptop - B is just not fast enough for streaming video (it works, but just barely - skips on fast action).

Totally, I'd pay $35 for one of those things, but for all 3!

Sold out at 6AM, what are we supposed to do
