King Kong Rules!

Hey guys and gals,

I caught this film last night at the theatre. 3hours and 7 minutes of enjoyment. The CGI from WETA well made me weta . The characters were all very well played, even the small timers that didn't get much on screen time. Kong was amazing. There were a few scenes that looked obvious and there were a few scenes that were highly improbable BUT it never really took me out of the experience.

I think I might just have to buy a big screen HDTV JUST for this movie when it comes out...hopefully by then the HD DVD/blu-ray will be out and I can watch in full 720p glory.

WARNING: This movie has some scenes that may freak you out A LOT! especially if your not a bug person....end of warning.

Love Regis's title, King'a Kong'a. I also saw the movie, pretty nice set up.

Re: King Kong Rules!

That movie was great. There wasnt a moment of down time. Action all the way.
I got vertigo at the end when Kong fell off the Empire State Building. Very dizzy stuff.
I picked up the Video Game for xbox 360 after the movie. Pretty good game except i have to play as Adrian Brody through the first parts.

Re: King Kong Rules!

anyway, i watched king kong for the first time tonight...thought it was great, a little slow in the beginning until the action started happening on the island, once thigns started moving the 3 hours seemed to go by really fast.

Andy Serkis was amazing as kong (big surprised, he kicked ass as gollum in lord of the rings)

peter jackson does it again

Re: King Kong Rules!

Holy crap, amazing movie. And I don't think they could have told the story as well if it were shorter. Sure, all the important scenes would be there, but you wouldn't get the same feeling out of it.
