Anyone work for Fed Ex? Shipping Problem! I need Help!

Ok, so my car payment for my 3 was due tuesday, I was late getting it in the mail so I just decided to Fed Ex it overnight on Monday. It's a PO Box, and evidently Fed Ex doesn't ship to PO Boxes so the guy at the shipping center went on his computer and got me a street address that HE SAID matched the PO Box. I shipped it and was trusting Fed Ex this street address matched my bank's PO Box.

Well, my bank for my financing hasn't recieved my payment!! I'm really pissed! I kept checking my online account for my bank and it still says they haven't received it! I've called Fed Ex's 800 number twice yesterday. The first call the lady said they would look into it by having a driver go back to the location? and call me back, that was yesterday at work and I never got a call back at work. I sent a money order, like I always have, but if this gets lost, I'm screwed right?! I mean the Fed Ex tracking said they delivered it, someone signed for it and "left at front door". Now does that make sense? My biggest worry is getting the payment to them because late fees could arise and I don't wanna let this drag on much longer.

Am I right when I say that Fed Ex is responsible for my $350 money order?! And, I paid $17 to overnight it, bastards! My first guess is that they told me the wrong street address in the first place, and why didn't the Fed Ex guy just tell me they can't ship to PO Boxes period and I would have gladly left and gone to the Post Office! Is it possible it will get returned to me, like "return to sender"? Is there a way to get Fed Ex to go back, get it and return it to me? Aww man I am so pissed and frustrated. I don't wanna be out $350 and have to borrow money from my parents to pay this month's car payment! Plus I tried going on to Google Maps and plugging in the street address that they said matched the PO Box and the street name didn't exist according to Google Maps!!

I'll take any input, suggestions, recommendations, etc. etc. Time is of the essence!

First off Fedex shouldn't have left the package there without a signature. If they received a signature it's there responsiblity as far as I'm concerned, second you should contact the bank and tell them what happened and give them the Fedex tracking number and see if they can wavie any late fees, but you will need to send them a payment. 3rd was it insured? 4th put a stop on the money order and have it reissued. You'll at least get back whatever it was minus the fees for reissuing the money order.

I would cancell the money order and either send another one. Is there a reason why you don't pay them electronically?

You can stop a money order and reissue it? *I did not know this? *I do have the money order receipt.

I did contact my bank and told them what happened, but didn't ask if they would waive any late fees. *Maybe I should call them back. It was not insured.

How do I put a stop on the money order and reissue it? I've never heard of this.

I'm not familiar with the electronically way of paying them, if one does exist. I don't have a checking account, so that wouldn't be an option.

You can stop a money order if you still have the receipt. Go back to where you bought it.

Anyway, why don't you just have the funds deducted out of your account every month? Saves you money order fees as well as having to mail/FedEx anything in.

He does not have a checking account. As far as I know, then cannot take payments out electronically from savings.

Yeah I've been meaning to get a checking account, just haven't gotten around to it. I tried 2 years ago getting one but I was denied by the one bank, don't know why. That was long ago, so now that I'm well established with my local credit union, I'll go there and open one soon.

Dan, sowwie to hear about your payment problem dude! What is FedEx's latest take on it? If they cannot locate the funds, I would definitely cancel and use a different service (UPS, etc) to send the funds.

For me, my car payment/financial institution is a local bank and I have a checking account there. So, it works out nicely.

Re: Anyone work for Fed Ex? Shipping Problem! I need Help!

I'm hoping to cancel the money order and get a refund, then send my payment another, more secure way.

I could care less about Fed Ex and their shitty shipping. I've had no problems with Fed Ex up until now. How dissapointing. My biggest concern is getting my bank paid ASAP to avoid any huge late fees or a bad rep with them. However I did talk to someone at Chase and they said I still have a while before I would get on their hit list. Haha.
