Always make your car payment on time

High-tech 'repo man' keeps car payments coming.

If you don't pay your cars monthly or weekly bill then you may fall victim to the auto kill switch. Pay it and recieve the necessary code to keep her running.

Re: Always make your car payment on time

I like this line:

Quote:
"I think it's the level of control that bothers me," said Ken McEldowney, executive director of Consumer Action, a national non-profit group based in San Francisco. "It just sounds like Big Brother run amok. There's got to be a more respectful, less intrusive way of doing this that isn't so demeaning."
Yeah, because it's not intrusive and demeaning when the whole neighborhood sees the repo man towing your car away.

The car dealer in the article even said that they'll sell more care with this, because they don't have to worry as much about someone not ever paying. So if it's a choice between not being able to buy a car because you have shit credit, or being able to buy one because the dealership knows you aren't going to be driving around without paying for it, I fail to see what the problem is.
