Just curious, but what are the little blue curly things that show up below our names & above our avatars?

They're ranks. The more of them you have, the less time you should be spending on the forums :-D Basically, they're linked to your post count. As your post count goes up, at certain intervals, you get more and more of them. It's a cheap and not-so-good way of determining "seniority" on the forums. Just for fun, I think.

One of the admin who helped get the site up and running came up with them. I think Phrosted or Flipped Cracker? They are nothing more than a simple design. I know the question has been asked before, I can't seem to find it right now.
