Razr v3 from T-mobile

So a couple of months ago T-mobile got the razr v3 in silver only and my phone seriously needs to be upgraded. I have read tons of reviews on it but it's hard to tell if a lot of these people actually have the phone. So for those of you that have it or have had it, how is it? I heard the memory is really small but it really can't get any smaller than my phone and I heard the camera sucks but some of the pictures I have seen taken with it look decent. What are you pros and cons of this phone?

Thanks
Katie

Cause I heard only verizon and cingular are getting it and I don't wanna switch providers just for a phone and I heard it's gonna be 500 bucks. It is awfully tempting though.

Re: Razr v3 from T-mobile

My wife and I were going to get these for $50 each when we switched to Cingular (through www.wirefly.com) but she didn't really like the razr and we ended up getting the v551. Here are some of the reviews we were reading through though.

Or try to find on of these assuming it ever comes out.

Thanks that was a good review. I like those new razrs but I doubt Tmobile will get them anytime soon and they are going to be soooo expensive.

For those of you who have the v3 do they scratch easily?

Re: Razr v3 from T-mobile

The RAZR is the only current Motorola phone I would consider getting, and then only because of its design. Time and time again, my experiences and those of my friends with Motorola phones have been poor. The issues with them all revolve around mechanical unreliability and battery problems that manifest themselves after around a year. The C333 I bought for my sister stopped charging its battery after almost exactly one year so I replaced the battery and it worked fine for about a week, after which that battery too would not charge. She'd charge the battery and the phone would say it's full, but the second she took out the charger the phone started complaining about her battery being low. This is almost the exact same issue I had with an older Mot, whose model number I can't remember. Exactly two friends of mine have had similar battery problems and one had a problem with his flip mechanism.

I'd pick almost anything before Mot, except in the case of the RAZR. Also, the ROKR is a dud. Forget about it.

Reliability and quality in this order:
1. Nokia
2. SE
3. Samsung

Re: Razr v3 from T-mobile

I've had the silver version of the Moto. Razr V3 for about 3 months now (through Cingular). I absolutely love it. I do not consider the memory small, but maybe that is because my pervious cell was over 2-years old. The camera is good enough for me, as afterall it is, in fact, a phone. I love the ability to upload pictures/ringtones to the V3 as well. I never hafta buy ringtones. Overall, it is a fly cell. haha No, it does not scratch easy as it is made by some type of plane material I thought? haha

Also, I do not like the phones with the itunes feature. You hafta pay like some monthly fee or pay for each song that is on there (I believe) plus I can listen to whole songs on my V3 anyways. No biggie for me.

Re: Razr v3 from T-mobile

My co-worker has one. He complains about not being able to hear with the speaker on full, unless he has the blue tooth head set on. THEN the batteries go dead quick.

I'm pretty much a Samsung guy myself. The new Motorola Slvr might be interesting if/when it comes out for T-mobile.
